Focus areas
One ecosystem, three doors: the clinic works in mami.doctor, its patients live in mami.care, the platform team runs everything from mami.health. One idea underneath: the system does not think — the clinician decides. A concept for the US market, carried through to a clickable prototype.
Challenge
Paperwork eats the doctor’s time, and between visits there is a blind zone: the patient is left alone with a dry protocol. Generic EHR systems overload the clinician with data and actions, while fashionable AI helpers start deciding in their place. What was needed was a calm system for women’s and family health that gives time back to the person and leaves the decision with the doctor.
Approach
- 1 Split the ecosystem into three surfaces by role: mami.doctor (clinic), mami.care (patient), mami.health (platform)
- 2 Gathered the clinician’s working day in one place: reception, a protocol-driven visit composer, and signing into the EHR
- 3 Gave the patient a mobile companion between visits: the plan, results in plain words, check-in, and wayfinding in the clinic
- 4 Kept AI outside the line of decisions: the system does not diagnose and does not prescribe — it only prepares and displays
Solution
Three surfaces of one ecosystem. mami.doctor — the clinic’s workplace: run the day, compose visits by protocol, sign into the EHR. mami.care — the patient’s mobile app: the plan, results in plain words, check-in at the clinic. mami.health — the platform console: clinic onboarding and handling requests from clinicians. All of it carried through to a clickable prototype you can walk yourself.
